EVOSST: Evaluation and Valorization of Social Services for a Sustainable Transition

Empowering stakeholders to advance social services through cutting-edge research, innovative digital tools, and evidence-based policy frameworks.

About the Project

Our Mission

EVOSST (Evaluation and Valorization of Social Services for a Sustainable Transition) is a groundbreaking Horizon project that empowers public and private stakeholders to advance social services through cutting-edge research, innovative digital tools (AI and VR), and evidence-based policy frameworks.

Our Approach

By integrating dynamic impact modeling, comprehensive well-being measures, and an enhanced Social Return on Investment (SROI) methodology, EVOSST aims to elevate societal well-being, ensure environmental sustainability, and foster inclusive economic growth across Europe.

Main Objectives

1

Comprehensive Impact Analysis

Implement dynamic modeling and longitudinal research to assess how social services influence diverse groups over time. Generate actionable insights that guide future service design and strategic policy decisions.

2

Social Service Well-being Measure

Develop a multidimensional metric that evaluates psychological well-being (e.g., mental health, life satisfaction, social inclusion) alongside traditional economic outcomes. Provide a holistic understanding of how social services elevate quality of life.

3

Technological Integration and Evaluation

Introduce advanced digital solutions (AI, VR) to enhance efficiency, accessibility, and personalization in key social services (e.g., healthcare, education, reskilling). Rigorously evaluate their short- and long-term impact on user satisfaction, cost-effectiveness, and social inclusion.

4

New SROI Framework

Expand the traditional Social Return on Investment approach by incorporating well-being and environmental benefits into economic valuations. Create a robust, data-driven model that captures the comprehensive value of social service interventions.

5

Policy Framework Development

Co-create a dynamic and responsive policy framework that translates research findings into practical strategies for service delivery. Engage diverse stakeholders—policy makers, NGOs, industry, and beneficiaries—to ensure relevance, adoption, and scalability.

Target Groups

Policy Makers and Public Bodies

Government agencies, regional authorities, and municipalities seeking data-driven insights for more effective policies.

Social Service Providers

Healthcare, education, and community organizations aiming to innovate and improve service delivery.

Communities and End-Users

Individuals and families, including marginalized groups (rural populations, migrants, differently abled persons), who directly benefit from improved social services.

Industry and SMEs

Technology developers, research-driven enterprises, and consultancies invested in digital transformation and societal impact.

Academic and Research Institutions

Universities and think-tanks collaborating on advanced methodologies for social services evaluation.
