Interactive workshop “Building Better Services: Redefining Well-Being in Community Services” in Romania

The Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre (E-ARC) held a stakeholder workshop in Bucharest on June 16, 2025, focused on redefining well-being in community services through dialogue with experts in health, education, inclusion, and service accessibility.

Participants learnt about the hidden barriers and emotional effects of health and mental health services, the problems that arise when people don’t have the right skills or access to technology in education, the importance of co-design and trust in promoting social inclusion, and the need for autonomy and easier access within service systems through four interactive panels.

The workshop focused on user-centered design, treating people with respect, and the creation of practical, rights-based approaches to measure and improve social service delivery.
