EVOSST Dissemination Workshop at ECAI 2026 in Romania
On 3 July 2026, the EVOSST project was presented at the 18th International Conference on Electronics, Computers and Artificial Intelligence (ECAI 2026), held in Bucharest, Romania, from 2 to 3 July 2026.
As part of the conference, project partner National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest (UNSTPB) organised a dissemination workshop entitled “Workshop for Dissemination of EVOSST & TwinEU Projects”. The workshop introduced EVOSST to an academic and research audience, with Bogdan-Adrian Enache presenting the project’s objectives and research approach to approximately 20 participants.
The presentation introduced EVOSST’s approach to evaluating social services and understanding their longer-term effects on different population groups. Particular attention was given to the project’s work on dynamic impact modelling and longitudinal research, which aim to support a more comprehensive assessment of social service outcomes.

Another key topic was the development of a multidimensional well-being measure, designed to consider psychological well-being alongside traditional economic indicators. Participants were also introduced to EVOSST’s work on an enhanced Social Return on Investment (SROI) framework, which aims to incorporate well-being and environmental benefits into the assessment of social interventions.
The workshop provided an opportunity to discuss several methodological challenges, including the availability and comparability of longitudinal data, the representation of different population groups, and the integration of psychological and environmental outcomes into impact assessments.
Discussions also covered the accessibility of digital services, transparency in technology-supported decision-making, and the potential application of EVOSST’s approaches across different institutional settings. Participants highlighted the importance of clearly defined well-being indicators, consistent data harmonisation procedures, and validation across population groups.
The workshop helped introduce EVOSST’s research to the academic community and encouraged discussion on how economic, psychological and environmental perspectives can contribute to a broader evaluation of social services.
More information about the conference is available in the official ECAI 2026 programme.
