EVOSST, BENEFITS and SWINS Explore Collaboration Opportunities on Social Services Policy

Representatives of the EVOSST project recently participated in a clustering meeting with the BENEFITS and SWINS projects, following an invitation to explore opportunities for collaboration and policy dialogue on the future of social services in Europe.

The three projects were funded under the same Horizon Europe topic, HORIZON-CL2-2024-TRANSFORMATIONS-01-04: “Social services: economic and social returns and value added”, reflecting a shared ambition to improve the understanding, evaluation and long-term impact of social services within European societies.

During the meeting, each project presented its ongoing activities and approaches related to policy making, while partners also shared important milestones and achievements reached so far.

The discussion highlighted the complementary nature of the three initiatives and the potential for closer collaboration in areas of common interest.

As an outcome of the meeting, the projects agreed to work towards a joint dialogue with key stakeholders during 2026, with the aim of contributing to future policy discussions on social services at both national and European level.

In addition, partners agreed to establish a communication channel between the three projects in order to facilitate knowledge exchange, coordination of activities and future joint actions.

The meeting marked an important first step towards strengthening cooperation between projects addressing similar challenges and objectives, while contributing to a broader discussion on the future of social services in Europe.
