Interactive Workshop “Shaping the EVOSST Social Services Well-Being Questionnaire” in France

In March 2026, researchers from the University of Picardie Jules Verne (UPJV), a partner in the EVOSST project, met with stakeholders from the French medico-social sector as part of Work Package 3 (WP3), Task 3.2. The session focused on the pre-test version of the EVOSST Social Services Well-Being (SSWB) questionnaire, which is being developed to assess well-being in the context of social, health and care services.

During the workshop, the UPJV researchers presented how the questionnaire was developed and introduced the main well-being indicators included in the SSWB scale. These cover areas such as physical and mental health, education and skills, social inclusion and participation, as well as autonomy and access to services.

The researchers also presented existing validated well-being scales that helped inform the development of the questionnaire. Participants, including speech and language therapists and other professionals from the medico-social sector, were then invited to review the questionnaire items and comment on their wording, relevance and clarity.

The feedback collected during the workshop will help the EVOSST team refine the questionnaire before the pre-test phase.

A follow-up stakeholder workshop is planned for the end of 2026. During this workshop, the final version of the questionnaire developed under Task 3.2 will be presented, together with the results from WP3.3. The workshop will also include a discussion on the possible future use of EVOSST outcomes in French social services.
