Publication Highlight: Digital Serious Games and Inclusion in Higher Education

As part of the broader research activities connected to the EVOSST project, UPJV (Université de Picardie Jules Verne) contributed to the publication of the article: “Using a digital serious game to facilitate group work at university: interest among students with ASD“, published in La revue de santé scolaire & universitaire.

The publication explores how digital serious games can support collaborative work and inclusion among university students, including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Using examples related to ecological transition projects, the article examines how structured digital environments may help students develop communication, teamwork, and learning skills while reducing some of the barriers often encountered in traditional group interactions.

The paper also discusses the role of digital technologies and AI-supported learning approaches in fostering accessibility, wellbeing, and participation in higher education environments.

The publication aligns with several key objectives of the EVOSST project, particularly regarding social inclusion, wellbeing, and the use of digital innovation to support vulnerable groups and improve social service outcomes.

The article was published in La revue de santé scolaire & universitaire (Issue 93, May-June 2025).
